Please Stop Laughing at Me…

Mission – Too many outcasted students feel as if there is nowhere to go, that they have no one to turn to. Their differences set them apart, and their desperate need to fit in isolates them. The Encouragement Club is a bridge that eliminates the barriers between the popular kids, and those who are struggling to belong. It is also an empathetic, non-judgmental environment where students can productively vent their angst and frustrations, offer and receive compassion, and explore and accept their differences.
This mission will be accomplished through relationship expanding activities, character building initiatives, interactive community events, and honest open discussions that lead to a kinder, more caring school.
